The fragrance for the Red Rose balm was specially formulated to mimic the scent of the rose Papa Meilland. Anybody that knew my mother, Doreen Parry knew of Papa Meilland Roses. Her love of roses was always with her, from when she bought a rose plant with her first paycheque 75 years ago until she passed in 2012 and this is a tribute to her. Guests that would stay with her would often have a single Papa Meilland bloom in their room, and even today her 300+ rose bushes remain and bloom as her legacy.
